VINTAGE BRITISH LEATHER IS AN ITALIAN JOB
03 May 2007 - Belstaff

Belstaff Snetterton Vintage Leather Jacket

The new Snetterton jacket by Belstaff would not have looked out of place at the famous circuit''s first race meeting in 1951. This classically styled jacket, with its central front metal zipper and slit pockets, is made in Italy from the finest 1.4mm Italian leather that has been treated to give it the well worn look and feel of a much loved garment.

It is packed with period details, which also have practical benefits, like the retro styled stretch panels on the shoulders and neck that ensure freedom of movement with a figure hugging fit and comfortable 100% cotton quilted Belstaff tartan lining. There is even a corduroy lining inside the neck. These are enhanced by styling cues such as the bronze Belstaff badges on the sleeves and small embroidered Belstaff logo on the back. Even the adjusting regulation buckles and snaps on the sides are in character.

In spite of its vintage appearance, the Snetterton contains many practical modern features, including CE approved armour on shoulders and elbows (with an extra pocket for a back pad) and 3M Thinsulate® padding in the body and sleeves of the quilted lining.

Belstaff produce the Snetterton Jacket in Black / Bronze & British Green / Bronze in sizes Small - XXXLarge / 38'' to 48'' chest for the retail price of £529.99 inc. VAT.
