SUPER COOL SPORTS SCOOTERS FROM PEUGEOT
27 April 2007 - Peugeot

Limited edition motorsport scooters from Peugeot now with liquid cooling

Peugeot has created two new limited edition versions of the best-selling Speedfight both of which are fitted with liquid cooled engines for a smoother, cleaner and more responsive power delivery.

In its distinctive red-and-white livery, enhanced by sponsor logos, the Speedfight R-Cup evokes the amazingly successful history of Peugeot in the World Rally series this decade, which includes three successive Championships. With its uncompromising asymmetrical twin lens halogen headlight, the R-Cup version has many eye-catching details, including ‘snake bite’ exhaust, two-tone sport saddle and carbon-look speedometer trim with matching mirrors. Aluminium footplates, rear spoiler and white wheels shod with Pirelli tyres complete an image fit for any top class paddock, while the 50cc, Liquid cooled 2 stroke single cylinder can compete in grid locked urban streets.

The Speedfight Motorsport provides everything the public has come to expect from this iconic machine (which has remained one of the UK’s best-selling 50cc scooters for a decade) and shares all of the R-Cup''s features, including 180mm disc brakes front and rear and single-sided front swing-arm, presented in a sophisticated Technik blue/silver colour scheme.

Both machines are available through Peugeot''s national dealer network priced at £1,849 on the road and are covered by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind.

Affordable insurance is available through Peugeot’s long-term partner, MCE (Tel. 0870 01-01-125).
