TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES OPENS NEW DEALERSHIP
25 April 2007 - Triumph Motorcycles Ltd
Triumph Motorcycles is proud to announce the opening of its new Triumph dealership in the heart of New York City.
Situated at 155 6th Avenue, Triumph NYC was recently launched with an opening party hosted by Triumph CEO Mark Kennedy and Grey''s Anatomy Star Justin Chambers. The infamous Spring Street was shut down for the event and onlookers were treated to a dazzling show by stunt master Kyle Woods, as he performed burnies and wheelies, eventually running his tire into the ground in a pile of smoke and rubber! The launch of new models, together with Triumph’s focus on distinctive, stylish design has strengthened customer perception of the marque as an iconic, desirable and contemporary brand. This has led to the business experiencing strong growth, with sales up by 18% globally in the 2006 financial year. The US now accounts for 25% of total sales and the opening of the NYC dealership is part of Triumph’s plan to develop their State-side dealer network. Todd Andersen, Vice President of Triumph Motorcycles, USA comments, “The US is a strategically important territory for Triumph Motorcycles and the NYC area, as well as having a large sales potential, is also an influential market for us to have presence in. Having been absent in the city for a number of years, it feels great to be back”.
