GET FIT AND LOOK GOOD WITH HARLEY-DAVIDSON
18 April 2007 - Harley-Davidson UK
Harley-Davidson dealerships nationwide have launched a ‘Getting Fit and Looking Good’ campaign with the introduction of 12 new rider essentials packs.
The accessory packs complement the looks of a wide range of the legendary Motor Company’s motorcycles from entry-level Sportsters through to the Electra Glideâ Ultra Classic™ and Softailâ Deluxe. The aim of the packs is to ensure that Harley-Davidson customers can easily identify the correct parts and accessories for their riding needs. Skilled technicians within the company’s 30 dealerships across UK and Eire will fit the items professionally. The packs retail from less than Ł450 for one of the Sportsterâ packages to more than Ł875 for a pack to fit the XL1200L, XL1200C and XL 883C from the same family. Touring, Softailâ and Dynaâ packs start at around Ł500 for the Road Kingâ Standard and Electra Glideâ to just below Ł865 for the Softailâ Deluxe. Items included within the packs are the best sellers in every air-cooled family and will provide additional comfort while adding to the overall look of the motorcycle. The practical additions – such as increased luggage capacity, backrests, windshields and storage covers – should increase the motorcycles’ already strong residual values and enhance the riding experience. In addition, every customer purchasing one of the packs will receive a limited edition Harley-Davidson belt buckle from the increasingly popular MotorClothesâ range. Examples of motorcycles with the packs fitted will be available in some dealerships for customers to view. “These packs are already available to customers in the US,” says Harley-Davidson UK Accessories Manager Allan Brownridge, “and they have proved extremely popular.” We believe that the packs will be a welcome addition to our huge range of parts and accessories. Customisation is a strong feature of the Harley-Davidson experience and we hope that these packs will simplify the purchasing decision for riders wanting to tailor their motorcycle to their own requirements.”
