NEW MICHELIN PILOT GT
(Stoke-on-Trent – March, 2007) – Michelin has launched the new Pilot GT for the Honda GL1500 Gold Wing. Designed specifically for this touring bike, the new Pilot GT features a cross-ply casing construction. This super-reinforced casing offers excellent load-carrying capabilities, with excellent high-speed stability on straights and through corners. The tyre’s tread pattern is the same as that found on the rear Michelin Pilot Road tyre but it has been rescaled for the front Pilot GT. This pattern combined with the tyre’s profile ensures stability with and without a trailer, good high and low speed manoeuvrability and class-leading grip on wet roads. The Michelin Pilot GT is available in 130/70-18 63H front and 160/80-16 75H rear sizes, and is only suitable for fitment to the 1987 to 2000 model years Honda GL1500 Gold Wing.
