WORKINGTON have appointed Graham and Denise Drury as their new management duo to take over from Ian Thomas.
The husband and wife team are leaving Conference League Mildenhall after three successful years at the helm. Graham Drury said: ''It''s time to move on from Mildenhall, we''ve done all we can there and this is an exciting new challenge for both of us and we'' re looking forward to it.'' NEW Belle Vue boss Ian Thomas has wasted no time in starting work on his team for next season. Thomas, who has left Workington to move to Manchester, has confirmed his first signing for 2005 is close. He said: ''We''ve been in negotiations with a rider and we expect to be in a position to make an announcement on our first signing in the next couple of days.'' POOLE have completed the Elite League double for a second successive season after winning the Knockout Cup. The Pirates beat Ipswich 57-39 in the second leg at Wimborne Road to secure a 99-87 aggregate win. Antonio Lindback was top scorer with 13+2.
