MALAGUTI’S UK DISTRIBUTORS – EP BARRUS CELEBRATE WORLD SUPERBIKE TEAM SUCCESS BY SUPPORTING BEN
01 November 2004 - BEN Motor & Alied Trades Benevolent Fund

Earlier this year James Toseland, a member of the Ducati Corse team rode to victory at the World Superbike Championships.

To honour his victory Malaguti, as the official supplier of paddock scooters to the team, are launching a limited edition Firefox F15 scooter at this year’s Motorcycle and Scooter Show. EP Barrus as the official UK distributors for Malaguti decided to celebrate this unique event by donating one of the F15’s to BEN, the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund so that the charity could raffle the bike during the course of the show to raise funds.

Both BEN and Malaguti will be exhibiting for the full duration of the show which takes place at the NEC Birmingham between 4 and 14 November and James Toseland has very kindly agreed to visit the BEN stand on either Thursday 4 or Friday 5, where he will personalise the donated scooter with his autograph. BEN’s stand will be number B02 in Hall 6 and it is from here that the raffle tickets to win the bike will be available for purchase at £5 each. Visitors to the stand will also be able to find out more information about the work of the charity and have the opportunity to purchase a variety of other BEN Merchandise.

BEN is the motor and allied trades benevolent fund. Founded in 1905 it provides practical help, support, advice and friendship to more than 15,000 men and women and their families in their own homes every year. The fund also provides a home to over 350 people, who live in one of the Fund’s four nursing and residential centres throughout the UK.
