28 February 2007 - Sherco
Just one race remaining,
Cabestany wins in Minorca and moves into second place in the provisional classification Albert Cabestany wins the Indoor Trial of Minorca, which was held this past Sunday, February 24, 2007. With his second victory in a row Albert has moved into second place in the provisional classification, two points ahead of Adam Raga, the 2006 World Champion. Toni Bou clinched the Indoor Trials World Championship with his second place finish; his ten point lead makes it mathematically impossible for anyone to take the title away from him. There is only one race remaining on the schedule with the cancellation of the race that was to be held in Argentina. Cabestany will have to continue to excel in his performance, if he wants to win the much longed for second place position in the provisional classification. Albert showed a surprising regularity and consistency in his victory in Minorca, he excelled when he had to in the final against Bou and Raga. In the critical section six, Albert zeroed whereas his rivals committed errors.
