FIRST PODIUM FOR DANI OLIVERAS SINCE JOINING THE SHERCO TEAM

Dani Oliveras premieres the 2007 season with a podium in his official début with the Sherco 2.9 at the International Trial of Pau (France).

The young rider from Gerona was penalized more points than he really wanted in the first lap. All of the riders were allowed to compete in the final; Dani demonstrated a great amount of skill and finished in third place, one point behind the British rider Doug Lampkin. This result confirms that Oliveras is one of the premier riders on the circuit and will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. We are very optimistic about how well he will do competing on his Sherco in the outdoor competition which will start in Cordoba on the 4th of March.

In the same competition, Christhope Brouand, rode the new Sherco 3.2 4T to fifth place in the final classification.

Primer podio de Dani Oliveras con Sherco
Dani Oliveras ha estrenado la temporada 2007 con un podio en su debut oficial con la Sherco 2.9 en el marco del cuatro Trial Internacional de Pau (Francia). El joven piloto gerundense fue a más a medida que avanzaba la prueba y después de sumar más puntos de los deseados en la primera vuelta, en la manga final, en la que también compitieron todos los pilotos, logró remontar posiciones con una gran demostración de pilotaje, que le llevó a la tercera plaza final a tan solo un punto del británico Doug Lampkin. Con este resultado Oliveras se confirma como uno de los pilotos con mejor proyección y su progresión a los mandos de la Sherco le hace sentir realmente optimista de cara la temporada oficial outdoor que empezará en Córdoba el próximo 4 de marzo. ''Estoy muy contento del equipo y a gusto con mi nueva moto. Realmente estoy muy motivado de cara la nueva temporada y espero estar en los puestos de cabeza en mi primera temporada completa en la categoría máxima''. En la misma competición Christhope Brouand, a los mandos de la nueva Sherco 3.2 4T se clasificó en la quinta plaza final.
