PLOTTS WOWS HOMETOWN CROWD IN TOYOTA AMA LITES
25 February 2007 - AMA Pro Racing

NEESE WINS A WILD ONE IN PA

It was old school Toyota Arenacross at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes Barre, PA tonight. Jim Neese lined up with moto veterans like Barry Carsten, Damian Plotts, Jim Chester and Justin Buckelew to win the main event. Carsten got off to a squarely start bouncing like a pin ball down the straight and then crashing with Damian Plotts taking them both out of contention. Buckelew faded early on to leave Neese by himself for much of the race. However, in the final laps Buckelew mounted a charge to pass Neese at the end of the woops section. Neese put his Arenacross IQ to work pushing Buckelew wide on the next turn and took the lead back. Neese went on to win the Main Event.

In AMA Toyota Arenacross Lites it was Cameron Lansing that took the hole shot and race out front for the first lap. Local hero Damien Plotts passed Lansings Suzuki and never looked back. Lansing ran into trouble with Patrick Massie near the half way mark allowing him to pass. Massie finished second ahead of Lansing. Rock River Powersports Yamaha rider, Brad Modjewski went down in the first turn and charged back to 4th before crashing again in the woops section. Modjewski finished 5th behind Barry Carsten.
