SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 30.10.04
30 October 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

MILDENHALL co-promoter Denise Drury insists the Fen Tigers still have work to do in Sunday’s home leg of the Conference League Knockout Cup Final with Boston – despite taking a 47-46 lead to West Row.

Mrs Drury said: “Everything is still in the balance and it should be a terrific afternoon of racing. “We’re happy with the result but we know there is still a lot of work to be done.”

ELITE League stars Chris Harris and Adam Shields are included in Reading’s Euphony Classic on Sunday (6pm). The hosts have high hopes for Matej Zagar, Danny Bird and Phil Morris in a meeting which will be decided over 20 races with no sudden death final. Reading are operating their popular ‘kids for a quid’ scheme where children aged 14 or under will be admitted for £1 as long as they are with a full paying adult.
