SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES - 22ND FEBRUARY
22 February 2007 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SPEEDWAY 1

SAM Ermolenko has left Reading after just one season with the club – and admits he faces an uncertain future in the sport.

Ermolenko played a major part in helping the Berkshire side to last season’s play-off final as sporting director.

He said: “I’m now pumping all my efforts into my farewell meeting at Wolverhampton on March 18. At this stage, who knows what I’ll be doing after that?”

SPEEDWAY 2

LEE Complin is to make a speedway return for Wayne Carter’s farewell meeting at Scunthorpe on April 1.

Complin burst onto the scene as a teenage sensation with Sheffield in 2001 but quit the sport for personal reasons at the end of 2002.

Carter said: “I’m sure the inclusion of Lee will attract plenty of interest and I’m delighted he’s agreed to race in my meeting.”
