INCREASED SKILLS WILL SAVE ON YOUR INSURANCE
25 February 2007 - Bikesure

25% DISCOUNT ON YOUR MOTORBIKE (AND CAR) INSURANCE

Ride Drive customers develop their skills to an advanced level, and so add a whole new dimension to their road riding experience. They also become significantly safer riders. Now Ride Drive has organised a scheme that recognises this by giving a 25% discount against the cost of their customers'' motorbike insurance.

Julian Smith, Director at Ride Drive Limited, explains, ''It''s taken a long time to find an insurance company who were prepared to reward bikers and drivers who voluntarily develop their motoring skills by offering them a substantial discount. I''m delighted to announce we''ve now achieved this with a new partnership between Ride Drive and Adrian Flux Insurance, including its motorbike division Bikesure. You can now earn an impressive 25% discount from your normal annual premium by taking one of Bikesure''s approved Ride Drive courses.''

Once you''ve successfully passed the course, all you have to do is contact Bikesure when your current insurance company sends you your renewal reminder. Bikesure guarantees to beat the quote by 25%, whoever you insure your bike with.

In some cases, the Bikesure discount may be even bigger. The only stipulation is that you must have had your own bike insurance policy during the previous year (rather than being a named rider on someone else''s policy) and you must not have made a claim during that time.

Craig Darwin of Bikesure says, ''Bikers who complete a Ride Drive programme have demonstrated a healthy attitude towards road safety and responsible driving. They''ve raised their skill levels - and reduced their risk of accidents - and we feel they should be rewarded.

''It''s an innovative approach to offer such a large discount. The public tend to think of the insurance industry as taking rather than giving - hopefully this will improve that perception.''

There are no strings and no hidden charges: ''We want this to be totally transparent,'' says Darwin. ''If the scheme is successful then we''ll be building up a pool of customers who are making fewer claims - which means we may be able to reduce their premiums even more.''
