SPEEDWAY 1

PAUL Fry has won the support of former colleagues Craig Watson and Paul Pickering for his testimonial at Somerset on March 23.
Newport''s Watson readily agreed to race and Pickering, in his comeback year with Stoke, soon followed.
Said Fry: ''It’s so good to see ''Pickers'' riding again this year following his injury and I hope he has a trouble free season as far as injuries are concerned.''

SPEEDWAY 2

WEYMOUTH chief Phil Bartlett will be keeping a close eye on the opposition when his Wildcats take on the USA Dream Team on April 6.
The Wessex Stadium club will stage a full season of racing at Conference League l! evel.
Bartlett said: ''The American lads will be hoping to follow the likes of Penhall, Hancock and Hamill and this is a fantastic opportunity to watch them at the start of their careers.''
