GOOD RESULT FOR KEVIN JOHNSON
17 February 2007 - AMA Pro Racing

Tyler Bowers Aces Lites South

Toyota Arenacross danced into music city for the final stop of the 2007 tour. Honda’s Danny Smith enjoyed an eighteen point lead over Robbie Reynard after last weeks split round.

Kevin Johnson grabbed the holeshot and led every lap of the main event. However the Ti-Lube Honda riders were mixing it up. Teddy Maier and Matt Barnes raced in the top five with Tyler Bowers, Brock Sellards, Robbie Reynard and Danny Smith. Near the halfway mark Bowers and Sellards collided knocking Sellards out of the top five. Reynard charged on to finish second ahead of Bowers. Danny Smith finished fourth leaving him with a 15 point lead and in the drivers seat of a large part of the $100,000 point fund and a new Toyota Truck.

In the Toyota AMA Lites South main event Tyler Bowers passed Jim Chester early on to win. Chester allowed both Justin Sipes and Brad Modjewski past as well to complete the podium.
