MARCH SET FOR LAUNCH DATE OF TT XB12STT
16 February 2007 - Buell UK
Buell’s urban warrior is ready to do battle
Buell is set to launch its highly anticipated new Super TT XB12STT in the UK next month – just in time for the summer riding season. The aggressively styled versatile motorcycle is perfectly suited to weekend riding on tight, twisty roads. However, it is equally capable of filtering effortlessly through inner city traffic. The latest motorcycle from the impressive Buell range combines the functionality for which the brand is renowned with eye-catching form. The Super TT – like every machine in the 2007 model line-up – incorporates the brand’s Trilogy of Technology design principles. Low unsprung weight, frame rigidity and mass centralisation ensure that the XB12STT is stable and agile. The 1365mm wheelbase, Showa suspension and Pirelli Scorpion Sync tyres further enhance these qualities. The Supermoto-inspired streetfighter has a solo seat height of 798mm and competition-inspired number plates. It has been developed using track technology with fun and control at the forefront of founder and chief designer Erik Buell’s list of requirements. Therefore, it is still a strong contender in the performance stakes. Riders will glean confidence from the nimble handling characteristics of the muscular XB12STT, which is powered by a 1203cc Buell Thunderstorm engine. The Super TT delivers all the fun of a sports bike with the exhilarating freedom of an adventure motorcycle within a package that is perfectly suited to urban riding. Above all, the Buell XB12STT is unique. UK versions will be available in Arctic White only to provide a blank canvass for individual customisation. With the option of exciting graphics packages, this is one motorcycle that is certain to stand out from the crowd. Demonstration models are expected to be in approved Buell dealerships throughout March. Visit www.buell.co.uk to find your local stockist, organise a test ride and experience Buell.
