KNOX COME IN FROM THE COLD
01 November 2004 - Planet Knox Ltd

British protection specialists Planet-Knox have re-designed their acclaimed Cold Killers range of wind proof clothing with a new logo and a new look for this winter season.

Cold Killers was one of the first wind-proof clothing brands in the UK and while many other companies have jumped on the bandwagon, Knox have used their design & manufacturing expertise to continually develop the product range.
New to the range is the Wind Buddy, which is designed to be worn OVER leathers and to keep the wearer warm by blocking wind chill. Particularly helpful if the leather is pin-holed at the front for ventilation.

It is manufactured using an innovative 3-layer windproof fabric with a check-fleece fabric on the inside. Technical fabric specialist Singtex designed this development exclusively for Cold Killers. The check fleece allows better air circulation and is more breathable which means the wearer stays warm and comfortable for longer.
The Wind Buddy is expected to retail for £59.99 inc. VAT.

For riders wishing to wear their wind proof clothing under their regular bike wear, the popular Sport Top II is made from the same 3 layer fabric as the Wind Buddy, with a revised side zipper for comfort. The Sport Top II looks as good as it works and sells for £44.99 inc. VAT

Meanwhile the rest of the range incorporates a variety of useful updates. All of the neck tubes and balaclavas now feature a mesh breather panel. Prices vary between £9.99 - £14.99, Hot Hood II = £14.99 inc. VAT. Cold Killers Hot Socks have an elasticated cuff and rear vent, making dressing easier, and sell for £14.99 inc. VAT

The new Cold Killers range will be launched at the Motorcycle Show at the NEC, 4-14 Nov 2004
