DE ANGELIS IN THE FIRST ROW
05 November 2005 - Aprilia
Alex De Angelis (MS Aprilia Italia Corse) take Aprilia in the last seasonal first row thanks to his third laptime record in 1\''35\''768.
The San Marino rider succeeded in improving his time, in comparison to the done time of the first qualifying session of almost a second and a half , going up again from the tith to the third place. ''Today has decidedly been better than yesterday - said De Angelis - after yesterday\''s two crashes the things didn\''t go very well. We had to work a lot and we have succeeded in finding a good set up for the rear suspension and Ihave succeeded in making a beautiful jump from back to front. Starting on the first row will be an advantage looking to the race.'' From the second row with the seventh time (1\''36\''143 made to record yesterday) will start Casey Stoner (Carrera LCR) that crashes during the qualifying session. ''I don''t know what has happened - said Stoner - if not that I am immediately fallen. Ireentered on trackwi with the motorbike number two but I have had problems and I have not been able to turn as I would have liked. Looking to the race we haven\''t the right set up so I hope in the 20 minutes of warm up to resolve the things.'' The Aprilia Aspar 250 rider Sebastian Porto and Randy De Puniet are not satisfied of their perfrmance in the second qualifying session, in fact they will respectively start from the third row with the ninth lap time (1\''36\''522 made yesterday) and with the tenth time (1\''36\''537). ''Nothing has gone as it owed - said De Puniet - I mind not having been able to do more, at the end I have also fallen destroying the best motorbike. Tomorrow will want us a lot of fortune to be able to arrive to a good result.'' From the fourth line will start Alex Baldolini(Campetella Racing) and Roberto Locatelli (Carrera LCR) respectively with 15? and 16? time, while very lingered Simone Corsi he remains (MS Aprilia Italia Corse), 25? in seventh line.
