New Made-in-USA exhaust can for 2007 Yamaha R1

Two Brothers Racing – makers of high quality exhaust cans for a whole range of bikes – has unveiled its latest, designed specifically for the 2007 Yamaha R1.

At the heart of the Two Brothers M2 is a 2.35-inch stainless steel power core, surrounded by a first stage of stainless steel wool, and a second stage of high temperature glass-fibre. That keeps high temperatures under control and delivers a deep, throaty exhaust note.

Offered in Aluminium, Titanium or high-temperature Carbon Fibre, the Two Brothers M2 has a number of unique features:
· Fully serviceable, with parts available for damage repair or routine maintenance
· V.A.L.E. connection to standard header pipe eliminates the need for welding or springs
· Thinwall diecast aluminium inlets and outlets
· Optional P1-R Power Tip, a straight-through sound diffuser that cuts noise by 2-3dB with no significant loss of power.

Notes for Editors:
Two Brothers Racing is a US-based company, long established and well respected, that makes accessories for bikes and quads. They’ve been building carbon fibre exhaust cans for 15 years.
Aluminium: 6061 alloy used, heat treated to T-6 standard for strength, durability and hardness. Lightweight, thinwall (0.60”) extruded.
Carbon Fibre: Filament Wound Carbon Fibre (FWCF), using the best high temperature resins. The FWCF is continuously wound over a precision machined mandrel for a 100% seamless bond. The FWCF tube is then cured in a high temperature autoclave oven for superior strength and heat resistance.
Titanium: By weight, titanium is one of the world’s strongest readily available metals, 45% lighter than steel of comparable strength. It’s twice as strong as aluminium, so the Two Brothers M2 Titanium uses very thin (0.024”) wall construction, about 235g lighter than the Aluminium version.
