PASINI IN FIFTH PROVISIONAL POSITION
29 April 2005 - Aprilia

The 125 riders have been the first bikers to try on the circuit of Shanghai in sight of the Gp of China.

The first free session went to give confidence with this new 5.300 meters track, with by two rectilinear, the longest of which measure 1.175 meters.

Some light rain is fallen and it has conditioned first qualifying session. The fastest with an Aprilia has been Mattia Pasini (Totti Top Sport team) that has placed his RS 125 in fifth provisional position with his best time 2\''26\''262.

To his shoulders, the teammate, Manuel Hernandez with his best time 2\''26\''570. For \''Junior\'' (this the nickname of the Spanish rider) it is on a trial basis the best performance from the beginning of the Championship.

Backer, in 14° position, we find Andrea Iannone (Team Abruzzo), followed by Joan Olive of the Team NoCable. The Spaniard in this occasion has succeeded in making better than his teammate, Marco Simoncelli (19° - 2\''29\''519) that doesn’t find the ideal conditions for expressing him on the wet asphalt of Shanghai.

In the free tests of the morning, developed on the dry land, Marco Simoncelli had made to mark 2\''17\''815 and faster than almost eight tenth had been Mattia Pasini. For tomorrow all riders attend the end of the rain, that the learning of the footstep is making even more difficult, technique and driven in the slow and insidious part above all for the hook at the end of the rectilinear longer but the forecasts meteos don\''t seem encouraging.
