APRILIA IN THE FIRST ROW WITH PASINI AND SIMONCELLI
26 June 2006 - Aprilia

Two Aprilias RS 125 will start tomorrow in front row in Assen race.

Mattia Pasini and Marco Simoncelli have respectively conquered the third and fourth position on the grid thanks to the times 2\''12\''300 for the pilot of the Totti Top Sport and 2\''12\''729 for that of the NoCable Team.
Despite the chronometric improvement for both, Pasini loses the advantage pole for Mika Kallio, and Simoncelli doesn\''t succeed in improving the fourth plaza already conquered during the first qualifying session.

Characterized by the big heat, the second session is practically resolved to his expire.

\''I am satisfied however - said Pasini - because we worked well in sight of the competition. Today the warm was particularly difficult and it doesn’t helped me and the traffic has not allowed me to drive as I would have liked. I have also made some errors, among which a straight. However I have some border and this it makes me be more positive tomorrow for.\''

Simoncelli just returned into the garage has immediately looked for his technicians not to lose the concentration on the job in sight of the competition.

\''Sincerely - said Mark - I expected me to do better in comparison to yesterday, but the position suits me, starting in the first row is an advantage. We have tried above all this morning a lot of things to level of set up, at the end the motorbike is improved. Tomorrow morning we will sharpen today even more the choices sorts.\''

It actually slips back to the sixth position Sergio Gadea of the Master Aspar Team, it was in the first row yesterday with the third time (2\''13\''170) that today he has not been improved.
