31 July 2005 - Aprilia

Marco Simoncelli (NoCable Team) concluded in third position the Germany ‘s GP.

The race finished seven laps before the chess flag because of the crash of Manuel Poggiali.

Protagonist of a competition very fought, Simoncelli has always been in the head group in struggle with Kallio and Luthi, respectively first and second at the end of the race.

\''I am happy - said Simoncelli - 16 points are something to keep home. But I was sure that to end of the competition I could been able to attach for winning. To the beginning I lost some position but some laps before the stop of the competition I had understood that I could been able to pass in head in the final part of the track where I was faster. I don’t know what‘s happened, but if the direction has taken the decision to stop the race they will have had all the motives to do it.\''

With today\''s podium Marco Simoncelli brings him in fourth position in the championship with 101 points.

Different the competition of Mattia Pasini. The rider from Totti Top Sport has ended in the grass its competition to the ninth turn.

For Mattia the championship is now harder. After having introduced him as leader of the world championship in Germany, today Pasini is in fifth position with 100 points.
