SPEEDWAY 1 EIGHTIES golden boy Bruce Penhall is to jet in from his California home to ride in Sam Ermolenko''s farewell meeting at Wolverhampton on March 18. Penhall, world champion in 1981 and 82, was a cult hero with Wolverhampton''s bitter Black Country rivals Cradley Heath. He said: ''I’m looking forward to coming over to support my buddy Sam. I''m also excited about seeing all my old friends.'' SPEEDWAY 2 PAUL Fry has paid tribute to Rye House chief Len Silver for agreeing to a change of date for his testimonial meeting at Somerset. The event will now take place on Friday March 23 with the Rockets now visiting a week later. Said Fry: ''March 30 is a busy day in the Elite League so I wouldn’t have had the top stars, but Len agreed to switch and I’m very grateful.'' FIXTURE SUNDAY FEBRUARY 11:
