MATTIA PASINI DOCKS WITH TEAM ASPAR A change of team for Mattia Pasini who finished in 4th place in the World Champiobship and coming off a season with two Gp victories (in China and in Catalunya) and six podiums. The rider from Romagna, that was expected to immediately jump to the 4-liter, has decided to continue his international adventure in the smallest cylinder by moving from Team Totti Top Sport with Manuel Hernandez to the Aspar Team led by Jorge Martinez. \''I am anxious to start working with my new team. The end of 2005 is positive for multiple reasons and my goal now is to win Worlds. I am quite confident that Aprilia will support us to the max”. Atop the other three official Aprilia bikes will be Hector Faubel, Sergio Gadea, and Mateo Tunez, who greatly improved last season with excellent performances in the Spanish Championship. An important aspect that Martinez himself positively commented on: “For me this represents an important project and with Mattia, Hector, Sergio, and Mateo as runners we have lofty goals. I truly think that we will be amongst the candidates for the final victory of 2006.”
