SAM''S TICKET UPDATE TICKETS for Sam Ermolenko''s farewell speedway meeting at Monmore Green next month are now on sale - and there is a massive announcement due over the weekend. Ermolenko, the 1993 world champion, is widely regarded as Wolverhampton''s greatest ever rider and he''s already snapped up four of the top five riders in the world for his big day on Sunday, March 18 (4pm start, gates open 1pm). A massive crowd is expected and fans can now take advantage of the advance ticket arrangement to make life easier on the day. Ermolenko is preparing to release a statement which will make fans throughout the midlands want to see the meeting, entitled ''Sudden Sam''s Flaming Farewell''. The first 10 people who buy their tickets will receive an official programme signed by all the riders - including world champion Jason Crump.
