SPEEDWAY 1 PETERBOROUGH have agreed a fee with Belle Vue for the full transfer of Kenneth Bjerre to the East of England Showground. The news brings to an end one of the most controversial moves in recent times with Belle Vue far from happy with the issue. But Peterborough owner Colin Horton said: ''I’m delighted we’ve finally agreed a deal and I see Kenneth as an important part of this club’s future.'' SPEEDWAY 2 TOP Premier League stars Magnus Zetterstrom and Andre Compton are the first two riders to be confirmed in Birmingham''s grand reopening. Both riders will do battle in the Alan Hunt Memorial Trophy on Wednesda! y March 21 at Perry Barr. Brummies boss Graham Drury said: ''It''s a great way for the line-up to start for what is sure to be a very emotional night, these two boys won’t hold back!''
