7TH IN NASHVILLE FOR ATKINS
24 October 2006 - Aprilia

In the penultimate round of the Ama Supermoto Championship (raced on October 14th in Nashville), Darryl Atkins (Aprilia SXV 5.5) obtained 7th place in the Supermoto Unlimited class.

The rider of team Pacifico Racing went onto finish in 7th place after coming back from 10th. He brought his twin in just behind the lead group where John Lewis (Ktm) finished ahead of Benjamin Carlson (Ktm) and David Baffeleuf (Husqvarna).

Thanks to these results, Atkins is currently in 11th place in the general classification of the championship. Here below is the link to the official AMA Championship site.
