FLYING START FOR REYNARD
27 January 2007 - AMA Pro Racing

Robbie Reynard got off the starting line like a bullet to lead every lap of the AMA Toyota National Areancross main event in Denver tonight.

Cory Green Keeps it in the Family

Reynard win makes it his 5th of the year. It was not a good night for series points leader Danny Smith and defending champion Chad Johnson and Team Faith’s Kevin Johnson. Smith went down on lap four resulting in an 8th place finish. Chad Johnson was fighting bike problems all night having to make the main through the LCQ. Chads Suzuki did not last through the main event resulting in a DNF. Kevin Johnson was running 2nd for much of the race before he crashed and stalled his bike and was unable to get it restarted. Keith Johnson capitalized on his brother’s crash and finished 2nd ahead of a host of Colorado riders led by Travis Bannister.

Like his team mate Robbie Reynard, Cory Green’s Reynard Modification led from wire to wire to win the AMA Toyota Arenacross Lites West main event.
