AIRWAVES DUCATI CHOOSE Q8OILS FOR THIRD TIME LUCKY

Airwaves Ducati have chosen Q8Oils as their official lubricant supplier for the third year in a row. The past two seasons have been incredibly successful, with the team winning the Manufacturers Championship for Ducati last year and teammates Leon Haslam and Gregorio Lavilla finishing in 2nd and 3rd positions in the Riders’ Championship. This followed Lavilla’s stellar performance in 2005, when he was crowned Champion.

Q8Oils produce high performance synthetic lubricants in their ISO9001:2000 registered purpose-built plant at Leeds and have supplied Airwaves Ducati since the start of the 2005 season.

''Q8Oils have been excellent, particularly from a technical point of view,” states Airwaves Ducati Team Manager Colin Wright. “The oil performs exceptionally well, whatever the conditions, and has provided consistent engine reliability at peak performance levels on the track.”

The Q8Oils technical and product support is fundamental to the team achieving their racing and reliability results with factory-supplied 999cc Italian V-twin motorcycles. The statistics have been impressive. During the 2006 campaign the team achieved 11 wins, five 1-2 finishes, 38 podiums, 9 pole positions and held 6 lap records.

Prior to their relationship with Airwaves Ducati, Q8Oils supplied lubricants to Rizla Suzuki in 2004, the year that John Reynolds won the BSB Championship for them. Q8Oils technical staff will be actively involved in helping to make 2007 the fourth year in a row that the brand is associated with BSB Championship winning men and machines.
