NEW MICHELIN MINI-GUIDES To cater for the growing number of people taking breaks in the UK, Michelin Travel Publications has launched a new range of Mini-Guides covering the UK and Ireland. Priced at £3.99 and £4.99, the 10 Mini-Guides in the range cover six regions and four cities and each offers an illustrated insight into that destination – ideal for a leisurely break. The guides are produced in a handy pocket-sized format, so they are easily carried around during a day out to ensure that special sight is not overlooked. Each Mini-Guide is clearly laid out with colour photographs and illustrations to help really get a feel for the destination, and lots of practical information is included to assist with planning your getaway. This includes maps and town plans; the principal sights, with Michelin’s star ratings to help choose the most interesting; and a selection of hotels and restaurants carefully chosen with the same care that goes into the famous Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland. The following Michelin Mini-Guide titles are available from 18 June: Channel Islands, Cornwall, Dorset, Devon, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, North Wales and South Wales. All are priced at £4.99 each, except Edinburgh and Glasgow which are £3.99 each.
