WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS
25 January 2007 - Wolverhampton Speedway

SAM Ermolenko will have the top two riders in the world at his emotional farewell meeting - after Greg Hancock accepted his invite!

Hancock joins world champion Jason Crump as the first two riders to be unveiled by Ermolenko for ''Sudden Sam''s Flaming Farewell'' at Wolverhampton''s Monmore Green Stadium on Sunday, March 18 (4pm).

Ermolenko has also dropped a big hint that the rest of the field will be revealed in the next week as he is ''almost there'' with the line-up.

''It doesn''t get much more exciting than naming the top two guys in the world as the first two to agree to race in my meeting,'' said a bubbly Ermolenko ahead of a whistle-stop trip to California this week.

''Greg was very quick to say yes and would have been offended if I hadn''t asked him. He''s a great professional and his achievement last year in the Grand Prix, getting that silver medal, was something special.

''The rest of the line-up is almost there, including one guy from the Grand Prix who won''t be riding in the Elite League next season, so that''s pretty cool.''

Ermolenko is also close to finalising ticket details for the event and corporate packages and is urging fans to keep checking back on his website www.suddensamsflamingfarewell.com

''There will be a variety of packages available and advanced tickets will be on sale,'' said Sam. ''People can order via the website because we''ll have PayPal facilities available, so keep checking back!''
