SPEEDWAY 1

NEWCASTLE have completed their top five for the coming campaign by signing Scotsman Ross Brady and Danish teenager Jonas Raun.
Co-promoter George English said: ''Ross joins us as an absolute snip on a lowly 4.80 average, and we believe he can up that figure to his best again.
''Jonas is as keen as mustard to do well, and he has a fortune of good racing to give us in 2007.''

SPEEDWAY 2

LONG-STANDING Birmingham supporter Richard Meredith has been unveiled as the club''s main sponsor for their return to racing this year.
Meredith has agreed to back the Brummies in a substantial deal through his company, Mercom Water Products.
Meredith said: ''It''s a dream move for me because I first saw speedway at the old Perry Barr. This is a great opportunity for my company to gain exposure on a nationwide basis.''
