RXV 4.5 AND 5.5
26 October 2006 - Aprilia

HERE ARE THE 2007 VERSIONS!

The 2007 model year RXV has been presented to the specialized press. The most innovative twin is now enriched with a series of important revolutionary steps to make it even more untouchable to competitors.
A few of the most interesting new components have been highlighted below:

Evolution of the performance
It is even more racing thanks to the evolution of the V77 twin engine, the new accelerator that allows for better gas allocation, and the plastic kits that make it ever-more ready to race thanks to a weight reduction of about 2 kg. The exterior frame was developed on even keel with the engine and the 2007 version has shed an additional 500 grams, becoming the lightest frame in the category. A new and efficient adjustment of the Marzocchi suspension.

An even more aggressive design
The mud-protector designed in fluorescent red is perfectly in-line with the front fairing. Equipped with two tie-rods, it has the technical function of reducing the bouncing and twisting of the off-road. The conveyor belts, tank, sides, and tail define an overall comprehensive and fluid architecture. The new seat has room for a document holder.

A full array of accessories
Only the best, even the accessories. Already a series bike, the RXV offers the maximum performance possible in its category. The Aprilia engineers, working closely with the Akrapovic technicians, have already conceived an even better performing exhaust. It is the lateral Akrapovic exhaust kit in both steel and titanium with dedicated injection. This exhaust, for racing use only, allows for an ulterior reduction of weight and an increased performance for the entire duration of its use, especially with low revolutions. It was first developed for use in Extreme races (the toughest enduro competitions in the world), but the official riders also adopted it for the classic enduro races. It is now available for all fans who want the best for their RXV’s.
