TWO WHEELS GOOD FOR DVLA PERSONALISED REGISTRATIONS
22 October 2004 - DVLA
It’s visors down as DVLA Personalised Registrations take to this year’s Motorcycle Show for the first time at the NEC, Birmingham from 5-14 November.
Visitors will be able to take advantage of the easy to use touch screens, allowing them to see their ideal plate on the bike of their choice. Also on the stand is bike manufacturer Al Melling’s rare Monos 150 Classic, a must see for all enthusiasts. This imposing piece of British machinery has a massive 2,400cc engine, producing a top speed of 165mph. In homage to the great man the exclusive motorcycle will feature the personalised plate AL54 MEL. Visitors can search for their ideal plate from a selection of around 19 million. Those with a yen for the Japanese constructors may fancy AL02 YAM. Matching model number and plate could lead Honda riders to AR03 CBR or Kawasaki owners to the legend AL04 GPZ. Louise Pierpoint, DVLA’s publicity manager said: “We are looking forward to exhibiting at the show for the first time. I’m sure all visitors to our stand will find the ideal plate to match their budget and taste. With prices starting from just £250 including VAT and assignment fee, this is one customising feature that won’t burn a hole in your leathers.” To choose the ideal personalised registration, simply visit the DVLA Personalised Registrations stand in Hall 6. Information will also be on hand about DVLA’s next auction at Rudding Park, Harrogate on 7 and 8 December 2004. You can also search online at www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk.
