WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY
22 October 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

WOLVERHAMPTON will take their traditional look at potential new signings when they stage the hugely popular Ladbroke Olympique meeting at Monmore on Monday.

The event, which uses a unique handicap system after every rider has had one race, features American debutant Shaun Harmatiuk who freely admits he would fulfill a lifelong ambition if he signed for Wolves. Promoter Chris Van Straaten will also monitor riders from Sweden and Norway who have never been seen at Monmore Green. There will, however, be some familiar faces with the return of Wolves legend Peter Karlsson who has missed the 2004 campaign. Another ex-Wolf, Jesper B Jensen, also returns after spending this season on loan to Ipswich and his Witches colleague, top British Grand Prix star Scott Nicholls, is also on the bill. The meeting will end a highly entertaining season at Monmore Green and normal admission prices apply. There will be a grand firework spectacular at the end of the night to bring the curtain down.
