MILDENHALL have handed their final team place to former British Under-21 International Jamie Smith.

The 23-year-old has made a full recovery from an horrific leg injury last season and links up again with his former Somerset team manager Laurence Rogers.

Rogers said: ''Jamie is very determined. I signed him in 2001 from Peterborough and he became a real fans'' favourite. It gives us strength in depth.''

EDINBURGH''S Henrik Moller has explained why he is happy to spend a second season in the Premier League with the Monarchs.

The Dane may have been required in the Elite by parent club Peterborough had the Panthers agreed terms with Ryan Sullivan.

Moller said: ''I want to be a top rider in Edinburgh''s team instead of being a small guy in Peterborough''s. I think we will have a much better year.''
