The Loomer Road club, who have high hopes of success next season, will again carry the sponsor’s identity.

Stoke co-promoter Dave Tattum said: ''This will be the seventh consecutive season that we will be known as Stoke Easy Rider Potters and we are very grateful to Cyril Chell at Easy Rider for the continuing support.”

FORMER world champion Gary Havelock will ride in Kevin Little’s Farewell meeting at Redcar on April 5.

Little, who was a team-mate of Havelock’s for the rebirth of speedway on Teesside last year, is delighted to have his good friend on board.

He said: “We first rode together at Bradford in 1992, the year he went on to win the World title. He was brilliant then and he still is.”

CONFERENCE League treble winners Scunthorpe have confirmed their season will start with a Lincolnshire Cup tie against Boston on March 25.

The second leg will be at King’s Lynn on Good Friday as the Barracudas continue their search for a new site in South East Lincolnshire.
