WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS
15 January 2007 - Wolverhampton Speedway

COLIN Pratt - the man Wolverhampton fans love to hate - has agreed to join a glittering list of guests at Wolverhampton''s hugely popular pre-season Talk-in.

Pratt, a thorn in the Monmore club''s side down the years in charge of bitter rivals Cradley Heath and Coventry, will be on the panel along with Parrys International Wolves legend Sam Ermolenko, top referee Tony Steele and all the Wolverhampton riders and management.

And the March 13 event is all in a good cause with the club teaming up with high profile charity Promise Dreams, raising much needed cash for seriously or terminally ill children.

The event takes place at the Pamada Park Hall, venue of the sold-out Wolves dinner dance last October, and admission will be £3 with all proceeds going to Promise Dreams.

There will also be a raffle on the night with a genuine 1989 framed Wolverhampton racejacket as the prize, donated by Nigel Pearson.

Wolverhampton owner Chris Van Straaten said: ''It promises to be a terrific night and we expect a bumper turnout.

''I''m sure the supporters would like to fire questions at myself, Peter Adams, all the riders and our star guests.

''We, as a club, are very proud to be friends of Promise Dreams and we feel sure we can raise a significant amount for this most worthwhile cause.

''And I''m sure Mr Pratt will be in for some stick on the night!''
