PIAGGIO MONEY SAVING TIPS FOR 2007

Piaggio, the leading scooter manufacturer, celebrates the arrival of 2007 with some fantastic offers on selected scooters within its extensive range which are designed to help those who are looking for money-saving solutions for the New Year.

Due to its success in 2006, the 0% finance campaign will be continued on the Vespa LX range and extended to the popular Piaggio NRG and Gilera Runner 50cc models in 2007. Now you have no excuse not to make learning how to ride a scooter your New Year’s resolution!

Piaggio is appealing to first-time riders with its New Year insurance offers until 28th February 2007 on its most popular urban sports scooters, the Gilera Runner SP and PJ 50cc and the Piaggio NRG DT and the liquid-cooled DD 50cc. For those aged 16-20, the bikes are available to buy with Third Party Only insurance from £175 and the option to upgrade to Third Party Fire and Theft from £339.

And to make these scooters even more enticing - until 30th April 2007, the Runner 50 SP (£1899), Runner 50 PJ (£2049), NRG 50 DT (£1599) and NRG 50 DD (£1699) are part of the 0% APR finance offer available for all ages to buy with only a 25% deposit and the total amount of credit can be paid over an 18 month period with 0% interest.

For the same period, the ever-stylish Vespa is also celebrating the New Year by continuing with its 0% APR finance offer. With the option to buy a Vespa LX 50cc or Vespa LX 125cc on 30% deposit with the total amount of credit to be paid over a 24 month period with 0% interest. 25 year olds and over can buy a Vespa LX 50cc with £149 Third Party and Theft insurance as well as some fantastic rates for Third Party Only. Competitive rates on Third Party Fire and Theft insurance are also available on request for 16-24 year olds.

Getting onto two wheels couldn’t be easier - all you need is a valid driving licence (provisional or full) and to complete just one day''s Compulsory Basic Training if you passed your driving test before February 2001. All Piaggio scooters come with a two year warranty. Scooters over
50cc come with one-year free roadside recovery and an electronic immobiliser as standard (Immobilisers are excluded on the PX, Fly 100 and Zip 100).
