SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES - 9 JANUARY
SPEEDWAY 1 GLASGOW have finalised their 2007 team with the signing of Lee Dicken for a second successive season. Dicken will start this season at reserve and will form what is sure to be a pretty strong reserve pairing with David McAllan. Team manager Stewart Dickson said: “Lee was in all probability the obvious choice and I suppose deep down it was the decision we were always going to come to.” (SPEEDWAY 2 NEW Eastbourne owner Bob Brimson has been handed a big pre-season boost with a new club sponsorship deal. Meridian Marquees, who backed the Arlington side last season, will stay on board for the Eagles’ push towards the Elite League title. Brimson said: “It’s a huge coup for us to have Meridian back in 2007. Their people are very much part of our team and our management structure.” FIXTURE SUNDAY JANUARY 14:
