POOLE''S record points scorer Craig Boyce has agreed a new deal with the club.

The popular Australian returned to Wimborne Road last season after two-years on loan with Premier League outfit Isle of Wight.

Pirates co-owner Matt Ford said: ''I think Craig fully deserves a team place. He enjoyed an excellent season with us in 2006 and his commitment to the club could not be faulted.''

SPEEDWAY 2

ARENA-ESSEX have pulled off the signing of Polish sensation Krzysztof Kasprzak from Poole.

Owner Stuart Douglas completed the negotiations over the Christmas period once the Dorset club had signed reigning World Champion Jason Crump.

Said Kasprzak: ''I''m really excited about riding for my new club. It will be a different challenge to those I faced when I first came to England but I will do everything I can to help the club become successful.''
