SPEEDWAY 1 OXFORD have signed five riders for next season - including a remarkable return for Ales Dryml. Dryml almost lost his life in a crash at Cowley last July but is now ready to return to the saddle and he''s joined by Jesper B Jensen, Steve Johnston, Adam Skornicki and Eric Andersson. Cheetahs general manager Trevor Swales said: ''We''ve also been in talks with a top rider with Grand Prix experience.'' SPEEDWAY 2 BELLE Vue have lodged a complaint with the sport''s authorities over Peterborough''s signing of Danish international Kenneth Bjerre. The Dane was the subject of an embargo preventing any club from speaking to him until next March. New Aces MD David Gordon said: ''They announced they had signed Bjerre, even though the BSPA had told them not to do it. Their ethics are deplorable. It''s not something we will forget.'' SPEEDWAY 3 PAUL Pickering is to return to Stoke next season - after a two-year absence through injury. Pickering suffered serious arm injuries which threatened to end his career but is now fit to make his comeback. He said: ''It''s unfinished business as far as I''m concerned. I''m still have a bit of treatment but I feel confident of doing a job and I''m delighted to be back with Stoke.'' SPEEDWAY 4 BOSTON have ended the uncertainty over their immediate future by declaring their intention to race in next year''s Conference League. They will revert to their traditional Barracudas nickname with Malcolm Vasey, Mick Smith and Dale Allitt in charge. Staffsmart are the new sponsors. Said Vasey: ''This is the perfect Christmas present for our fans which we confirmed at our public meeting. We''re looking forward to next season.''
