POOLE''S dream season continued with Bjarne Pedersen and Ryan Sullivan taking first and second places in the Elite League Riders'' Championship on their home track.
Pedersen won a re-started Final at his home track on Sunday after he had been brought down at the first time of asking. Ipswich''s Hans Andersen took the final place on the rostrum with surprise package Rory Schlein of Belle Vue finishing fourth. BJARNE Pedersen said that his success in the Elite League Riders'' Championship was the perfect end to a memorable week. Pedersen played a key part in Poole''s Elite League title triumph, and also hopes to help the Pirates to the Knockout Cup. The Dane said: ''Everything worked well for me and it was a great place for me to win it in front of a big home crowd.'' RORY Schlein enhanced his growing reputation with a shock fourth place at Poole on Sunday after receiving a late call-up for the meeting. The Australian has been stronly linked with a move to Coventry in the past month, and beat several established names on his way to 12 points. Schlein said: ''I''ll remember the night for a while, I probably stepped it up a notch and it was great experience.''
