SPEEDWAY NEWS - 15TH DECEMBER
15 December 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 BELLE VUE chief Chris Morton is urging Aces fans to be patient with the new management and their winter signings. Morton has been locked in talks with team manager Eric Boocock since the takeover of the club last month. Said Morton: ''We can understand that supporters want news about the team, but we want them to be patient for a little longer. We must reach the right decisions and I''m sure that''s what they want as well.'' SPEEDWAY 2 ROBBIE Kessler is on his way back to Stoke for a fifth successive season after agreeing a new deal with the club. He said: ''Stoke seem to be putting a good team together and I''d like to think it''s one that can do well.'' Potters chief Dave Tattum said: ''With Garry Stead, Rusty Harrison and now Robbie in the top three, I really do think we have a solid look about the side.''
