SPEEDWAY UPDATE
14 December 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SWINDON have named their complete team for the 2007 - and hopes are high at the Abbey Stadium.

Leigh Adams, Seb Ulamek, Lee Richardson, Tomasz Chrzanowski and Mads Korneliussen all return from last season and Charlie Gjedder is back after a year on loan at Reading. Andrew Moore also makes a return to the club.

Co-promoter Alun Rossiter said: ''I''m absolutely delighted with the side we have assembled, which is very capable indeed.''

EDINBURGH have been handed a massive pre-Christmas boost with planning permission for their Armadale Stadium home extended for another five years.

The Monarchs, who are expected to announce a major signing this weekend, are relieved at the news.

Co-promoter Alex Harkess said: ''We were always confident but you never know for sure with planning issues. It''s great news.''
