LACY TO RETIRE
13 December 2006 - Tucker Rocky Ditribution

Longtime Indianapolis Business Leader, Andre’ B. Lacy, to Retire at the End of December

Andre B. Lacy, age 67, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Indianapolis-headquartered LDI, Ltd., Chairman and CEO of FinishMaster, Inc. and Chairman and CEO of Tucker Rocky Distributing, Inc. will retire December 31, 2006. He will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Executive Committee for LDI, Ltd., and will become Chairman Emeritus of FinishMaster and Tucker Rocky. The announcement was made at a December LDI Board meeting.

Tucker Rocky Distributing is a world-wide leader in the wholesale distribution of aftermarket parts, accessories and apparel for the powersports industry. We stock and sell over 75,000 items for street bikes, off-road motorcycles and ATVs, as well as all the accessories and apparel needed by the people that ride them.

Lacy began his career with U.S. Corrugated-Fibre Box Company, the family company and LDI’s predecessor, after college graduation in 1961, worked many summers and vacations, beginning handing out mail at the age of nine.

LDI is a privately owned wholesale distribution holding company. It’s portfolio includes publicly-traded FinishMaster (Pink Sheets:FMST), the largest national distributor of automotive paints, coating and related accessories for the collision repair industry and Tucker Rocky, one of the largest wholesale distributors of parts, clothing and accessories for motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle and snowmobile enthusiasts.

Under Lacy’s leadership, the corporation has grown from a corrugated box manufacturer to a diversified holding company whose business units have earned the #1 and #2 positions in their respective industries. The original company, U.S. Corrugated, was created in 1912 as a family business. Its founder H.J. Lacy, Sr. and Andre’s parents, H.J.Lacy II and Edna B. Lacy were business stalwarts in Indiana.

David N. Shane, age 58, President and COO of LDI, Ltd. since 2002, will succeed Lacy. Shane was elected to the LDI, Ltd. board at the December meeting. Shane joined LDI in 1997 as vice president and corporate counsel. Shane served as Governor Mitch Daniels’ senior policy advisor for education and employment, working in the areas of workforce development, higher education and K-12 education.

After graduating from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, Lacy took on increasingly more responsibility with the company as an analyst, a sales representative, a plant manager, a regional manager. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Lacy Diversified Industries in 1983. He attended Shortridge High School (Class of 1957) and has been a community leader involved in critical city projects such as education reform and economic development.

“When I joined the company after my father died, I envisioned building the company to be an institution, bigger than any one individual. I believe we have achieved that,” Lacy said. “We moved steadily through the minefields of a threshold company successfully. I’m especially proud of LDI, Ltd.’s 14.64% compound growth in value over the last 45-½ years. Finally, I thank all of our 2,800 associates who daily work hard to satisfy our customers, the good counsel over the years from the outside directors, and also all those who helped who are no longer with the company.”
