LUKAS Dryml will be back in the Elite League next season after agreeing to rejoin his parent club Peterborough.

The reigning Champions have also confirmed the returns of Niels-Kristian Iversen, Piotr Swiderski and Richard Hall to the Showground.

But the Panthers have failed to agree terms with club legend Ryan Sullivan, who now seems set to miss out on racing in the UK in 2007.

GARRY Stead is returning to the venue where he started his career - having agreed a deal to join Stoke.

Stead rode for the Loomer Road club way back in 1990 and now returns to the Potters after being with Workington this year.

He said: ''This is a good move for me and I am looking forward to wearing a Stoke race-jacket again. They are assembling a good side.''

GLASGOW have made their fifth signing for next season by recruiting Lee Smethills.
The Tigers were attracted to the 24-year-old due to his fine previous record at Ashfield when racing for opposition teams.

Team manager Stewart Dickson said: ''I certainly think that Lee is more than capable of upping his average and that is exactly what we need. He has had some terrific performances here in the past.''

NEWPORT promoter Tim Stone is set to complete a new signing for the South Wales club over the weekend.

The Wasps supremo is expected to make several team changes this winter and believes his first move will be a popular one.

Stone said: ''I think people will be pleasantly surprised with this news, and we should finalise matters in time to announce it early next week.''
