SPEEDWAY 1 BELLE VUE''S new owners have slammed reports suggesting Kaj Laukkanen has signed for next season. So far only Joe Screen and James Wright are confirmed starters and the club are in talks with several other riders. Chris Morton, the Operations Director, said: ''It is not the case that we have signed Kaj. He is an asset who is being considered but we have had no contact with him at this stage.'' SPEEDWAY 2 BILLY Hamill is the second rider to confirm his place in Wolverhampton''s 2007 Elite League team in a loan deal from Coventry. The 1996 world champion will spend a second successive year with the Monmore men after impressing last season. Said Hamill: ''I want to win the league title in England before I retire and will be giving my all along with my team mates to hopefully achieve my goal.'' SPEEDWAY 3 CHRIS Holder has agreed a return to the Isle of Wight after turning down a move into the Elite League. The Australian will be joined by newcomer Cory Gathercole, Glen Philips, Kristof Stojanowski, Andrew Bargh, Chris Johnson and new skipper Jason Bunyan. Islanders boss David Croucher said: ''I''m very pleased with the way the team has fallen into place. The return of Holder is a massive boost to the club.''
