SPEEDWAY 1

TONY Mole has completed the sale of Belle Vue with Aces legend Chris Morton amongst the consortium taking control of the Aces.
Morton is joined by Manchester businessman David Gordon and Glasgow co-promoter Gordon Pairman, with Eric Boocock joining as team manager.
The signings of Joe Screen and James Wright for next season will stand, but want-away World Champion Jason Crump is not included in the deal.

SPEEDWAY 2

THE Isle of Wight have announced their full team for next season which will be spearheaded by Australian sensation Chris Holder.
Also returning from 2006 are Jason Bunyan, who takes over as captain, Krzysztof Stojanowski and reserve Chris Johnson.
Glen Phillips rejoins the club after a season on loan at Somerset, and the team is completed by youngsters Andrew Bargh and Cory Gathercole.

SPEEDWAY 3

MILDENHALL promoter Mick Horton says that the proposed sale of the club is off due to ''persistent delaying tactics.''
Horton had been in negotiations to sell the Fen Tigers to former King''s Lynn and Somerset co-promoter Laurence Rogers.
He said: ''I made the decision for the good of the club and the fans, and I apologise for the delay in letting our supporters know what was happening.''

SPEEDWAY 4

BERWICK have named Benji Compton as one of their reserves in 2007, giving them four names on their team sheet so far.
Compton, 20, rode with his elder brother Andre at Sheffield last season and also has extensive Conference League experience.
Promoter Peter Waite said: ''Benji can provide us with that all important reserve strength, and I''m sure he''ll fast become a favourite with the crowd.''

SPEEDWAY 5

RUSTY Hodgson has been handed a team place at Redcar - and will make history by becoming a third-generation Bear.
Hodgson''s grandfather Frank was the club''s post-war captain, and his father Russ was a Middlesbrough Bear in the 1970s.
Rusty said: ''The chance has come a lot quicker than I expected but I am really up for it and want to carry on the family tradition.''
