SPEEDWAY 1 PETER Adams, the most successful manager in speedway history, has agreed a new deal to stay with his beloved Wolverhampton. Adams, who has won three league titles with the Monmore club, will also continue as co-promoter alongside club owner Chris Van Straaten. Said Van Straaten: ''There is no better man for the job that Peter and I would like to think we will be side-by-side at Monmore Green for as long as I am there.'' SPEEDWAY 2 REDCAR have completed a new deal to take rider of the year Daniel Giffard back to the South Tees Motorsport Park. Giffard, 21, will be on loan from Eastbourne and will continue to be a long distance commuter from his Sussex base. Redcar spokesman Gareth Rogers said: ''This is naturally a popular move by the club and Daniel would like to hear from any local sponsors.'' SPEEDWAY 3 LOCAL lad James Birkinshaw is the second confirmed signing for Sheffield''s 2007 Premier League campaign. ''Birko'' spent last season in the Conference League with Boston but was quick to agree a new deal to take him back to his hometown club. Tigers owner Neil Machin said: ''James is still only 25 and should be viewing this as the perfect opportunity to relaunch his career at a track he knows so well.''
